Our Favourite Toronto Parks to Explore This Season Post Image

After what seemed like an extra-long winter, the weather is beginning to heat up around the GTA. If you are anything like us, you are suffering from a bit of cabin fever. But with the stay at home order still in effect, you might be at a loss for what to do to occupy your time. Nature can often be the best remedy.

Keep in mind that Toronto and its surrounding areas are ripe with pockets of green space and beauty worth exploring. A little fresh air and exploration might be exactly what some of us need to get our bodies moving this spring.

But which parks are worth exploring this Spring/Summer season?

We've compiled a list of our favorite 4 parks to visit this season. Remember to visit responsibly and practice physical distancing.

Riverdale Park East

This park is fun to visit all year. It probably has one of the best views of the Toronto Skyline of all Parks in the city. It's the perfect park to relax, or even get some exercise with the track located at the base of the park.

High Park

This park located near Bloor West Village has it all. It's huge, spanning 400-acres and offering an abundance of biking and hiking trails. It's especially known for its cherry blossom trees which bloom in the Spring.

Trillium Park

Located near Harbourfront, Trillium Park is the perfect place to visit if you enjoy lakeside views. Not to mention this park also has a great view of the Toronto skyline.

Scarborough Bluffs

In the east end of Toronto, you will find a collection of parks that run along the Scarborough bluffs boasting amazing lake views, sand beaches, and plenty of places to relax.
