We use social media to share information and create a forum for our communities to engage in discussion. Our accounts vary in terms of frequency and content. Some of our accounts do not respond to public replies and we make no commitment to respond to posts.
When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean Sterling Karamar Property Management, a division of Sterling Silver Development Corporation (also collectively referred to herein as the "Sterling Karamar").
Social media includes any digital technology that enables people to create and share content and opinions in conversations over the internet. This includes Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, and Instagram, among others, and blogs, wikis, and comments included on websites reviewing products and services.
To assist in creating a safe, constructive environment we have implemented the below Guidelines for any engagement with us or other members of the community on or through any of our social media accounts or channels.
Comments or other postings that do not follow one or more of the following Guidelines may be removed and users who ignore our guidelines may be prohibited from using or commenting on our social media accounts or channels.
If you post to one of our social media channels, or otherwise respond or comment on one of our posts, you are agreeing to abide by this Policy and these Guidelines, which apply in addition to the Terms and Conditions or other legal notices that are provided by us and/or the owner or administrator of the social media platform.
- Be Respectful Always be fair and courteous. Never post or forward content that could be considered offensive, malicious, obscene, harassing, discriminatory or threatening to any readers or viewers, including but not limited to our employees, clients, tenants and subscribers.
- Be Truthful Ensure that postings are not disparaging, defamatory, false or misleading
- Avoid posting Personal or Confidential Information about You or Others If you have concerns about your rental application, lease or rental unit please contact the Property Manager and refrain from using the general forum of social media platforms to address such issues or concerns.
- Avoid posting Advertisements or Promotional Material
Breach of Guidelines
We reserve the right to determine whether contributions to our social media channels breach our guidelines. We reserve the right to hide or delete comments made on our channels, as well as block users who do not follow these Guidelines. We will cooperate with law enforcement officials and comply with any court order with respect to any claim or investigation due to any content posted and will provide such content and provide information regarding your identify as well as other relevant information.
We may, at any time, without notice or liability, revise this Social Media Policy and/or Guidelines by updating this posting. You should periodically revisit this posting to review any revisions to this Policy and these Guidelines. If any revision is not acceptable to you, you must cease accessing and using our social media platforms or accounts. If you continue to access or use our social media platforms or accounts after any revisions are posted you will be deemed to have accepted those revisions.
If any term or condition set out in this Policy or Guidelines is held to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the remaining terms and conditions will continue in full force.
